Your week ahead with your baby

This week brings two important events to our sky. On November 4, Neptune goes direct—meaning forward rather than backward—which encourages all of us to take stock of our hopes and wishes. Under this transit, our imaginations will be ignited with curiosity and genius, and dreams really can come true! Adding to this shift in consciousness is a move by Venus into passionate Scorpio on November 7. Your Sagittarius baby this week

Baby Sagittarius is sensitive to the emotional climate. Luckily, Neptune going direct this week will clear the air, and your little one will love the change it brings. Expect lots of giggles while your archer enjoys his own private joke—he’s giving free rein to his rich imagination. Sag babies and toddlers alike will appreciate new stories and experiences under this creative transit; the children’s art museum and library are both perfect destinations. Venus transiting super-sleuth Scorpio will stimulate your little one with a drive to dig in and learn at a deep level. Expect to read the same story many times as your child explores every nuance.

Your Sagittarius baby in 2009

Little Sagittarius is extremely inquisitive this week. In fact, Mercury’s meeting with the Sun in fact-finding Scorpio turns her into a veritable detective! Babies will need extra freedom, so widen their playing field—literally—whenever possible. Your toddler works best when she has the right tool for the job—using a stethoscope to play doctor or magnifying glass to find out what that bug is doing will both enchant her and satisfy that need-to-know urge. Cap off a day of exploration by having her make a collage or painting of all she’s learned—so she doesn’t forget!
