This is the best parenting book I have read so far. My friend had a colicky baby and her Doctor recommended she read this book, I bought it before my baby was born, and follow the tips in the book.  I have no problem getting my baby to stop crying and sleep through the night.

I LOVE 'Healthy Sleep Habits, Healthy Child.' Dr. Marc Weissbluth offers some excellent strategies and tips to help establish good sleep routines, and I credit him with restoring a big chunk of sanity to my life!  My sister-in-law recommended it to me, and I, in turn, have recommended it to all my mommy friends.

Hello, My Name Is Mommy: The Dysfunctional Girl's Guide to Having, Loving (and Hopefully Not Screwing Up) a Baby
by Sheri Lynch
It was so funny. Hilarious and a much bigger help than What to Expect When You're Expecting (and way more upbeat!!!).

On Becoming Baby Wise: The Classic Sleep Reference Guide Used by Over 1,000,000 Parents Worldwide
by Gary Ezzo, MA and Robert Bucknam, MD
Here is my miracle working favorite book of them all when it comes to parenting: "On Becoming Baby Wise." The first book will have your little one sleeping through the night anywhere from 6-8 weeks old! Then there is Babywise II, and another book for your toddler, preschool age, child, preteen, and teen. These books will help you parent through each stage in your child's life. They are absolutely wonderful and informative.
